Lenox Executive Search is seeking an experienced Congress Planner to fill an 4-6 month contractual role with a global pharmaceutical company . Must have 2+ years Congress planning experience in any industry.
REQUIREMENTS for the Congress Planner:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of Congress planning and execution experience (any industry)
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal functions and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and align with manager on congress planning standards and processes to ensure consistent approach across diseases and congresses
- Experience in project management roles
- Some travel required (US only)
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Congress Planner:
- Serves as the project manager for the Strategic Alignment Team (e.g. collecting the right agenda topics, ensuring the right discussions/decisions are made, and captures the minutes/action items post meeting)
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) congress
- Responsible for supporting American Transplant Congress (ATC) and ENDO (Endocrine Society) planning and execution
- Responsible for the planning of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) congress
- Tracks congress timelines and ensures the strategic alignment team for each meeting delivers on the required elements on the planning process (congress overview decks, attendance lists, executive summaries)
- Coordinates the creation and distribution of daily summaries and congress summaries for internal audiences and uploads into INSIGHTs tool
- Responsible for the development of the 2023 Congress Plan and Budget
- Provide support to Pain congress planning, as needed
