Temp-to-Permanent role. Strong opportunity for growth! Majority of work REMOTE but may on occasion require onsite work. Must have Project Management experience with Learning Programs.

This role is for a Project Manager for a global Pharma Company’s Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Center (AI/ML – Data Sciences). This center represents the hub of data scientists, statisticians and data engineers. The Project Manager will report to the Education & Engagement Lead within the AI/ML Center.

3-5 years Project Management experience, strong communication skills. Pharma industry experience highly preferred.

Lenox Executive Search is seeking an experienced Project Manager to fill an Temp-to-Permanent role with a global pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA.

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Manager:

  • 3-5 years of strong Project Management experience
  • Experience managing learning programs
  • Pharma industry experience highly preferred
  • Must be experienced enough to do high level work but willing to do administrative tasks
  • Meeting/Event management experience
  • Effective and persuasive communicator. Will be working with many internal stakeholders
  • Excellent multi-tasker and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptible and flexible
  • Digital literacy
  • Understanding of data management process.
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Experience using design thinking to problem solve (from critical needs identification to solution deployment/execution).
  • Well-organized, self-directed and customer centric.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Project Manager:
A) Project Manager for Education Group:

  • Creation high level project plan and ensure goals are met throughout the year
  • Point of Contact for Community of Learners Internally:
  • Regularly check mailbox and answer questions/meet with learners in the different educational platforms
  • Monitoring sign up/enrollment/continuation of offered courses
  • Sending constant reminders for people to enroll, continue with courses and be active on offered learning platforms
  • Manage MS Teams groups and check weekly to ensure questions from participants are being answered
  • Support and lead discussion groups between learners

B) Point of Contact with Learning/Education Vendor:

  • Attend weekly meetings with learning vendor
  • Monitor and manage any new offerings from learning vendor

C) Skillset monitoring:

  • Inspect and analyze what skills have the learners gained through the different education platforms
  • Monitor new courses being taken by Learners
  • Organize and attend focus groups to evaluate learner’s experience and feedback

D) Gradebook monitoring:

  • Keep track of who has completed courses and what those courses are
  • Certification: regular communication on course completion, and arrangement of certificates

E) Additional responsibilities:

  • Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for heads of the center
  • Quarterly Feedback: send out quarterly surveys to determine feedback and skillsets gained
  • Managing quarterly events i.e. Check Ins, Q&As etc.
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

F) Event Management Responsibilities:

  • Learning Vendor: Hold quarterly Learner Info Sessions
  • Manage AI/ML Community of Practice monthly meetings:
  • Send out monthly invitations with details including speaker/topic
  • Manage contracts/payment for external speakers
  • Liaison between vendors and internal team
  • Support setup of internal environment
  • Manage communications support writing of comms, send out via email, newsletter, yammer, etc.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Ensure we are meeting goals and tracking against KPIs
  • Collect monthly feedback and metrics across all 3 pillars: education, evaluate and execute to be share din AI/ML Hub
  • Collect metrics from each of the pillars for quarterly reports and final year report to be sent to leadership
  • Track # of meetings and requests Center has/ receives
  • Support enhancement of the framework
  • Maintain project timelines for each of the pillars and ensure they are aligned
  • Monitoring of mailbox
  • Point of Contact for the Sharepoint Site and editor of the SharePoint site
  • Collect metrics from each of the pillars for reports
