Lenox Executive Search is seeking a Quality Specialist, Material Release for a contract position with one of our global pharmaceutical clients. This is a one-year contract role This is a one year contract with the possibility of extension. Requires the candidate to work onsite in Providence, RI.
Job Description of a Quality Specialist, Material Release:
- The GMP Operational Quality Engineer supports the principles and application of quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The incumbent supports or executes a wide range of straightforward activities, and supports new/existing project initiatives.

- The GMP Operational Quality Engineer supports the principles and application of quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The incumbent supports or executes a wide range of straightforward activities, and supports new/existing project initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Quality Specialist, Material Release:
- Responsible for quality related incoming and WIP material management tasks.
- Supports quality related supplier approval, onboarding, and management activities.
- Responsible for quality objects for root-cause analysis and product impact assessment for investigations as a result of deviations, OOS, and OOT investigations.
- Supports change control assessments, implementation, and closure
- Identifies and facilitates continuous improvement efforts
- Helps represents Company’s Quality on cross-functional working teams, applying strong communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge and Skills of a Quality Specialist, Material Release:
- Experience supporting multiple projects/teams within stated objectives and timelines
- Experience supporting cross-functional team members and collaborate effectively
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to exchange potentially complex information
- Able to integrates activities with other groups, departments and project teams as needed
- Demonstrated ability to support evaluation of quality matters and solve straightforward problems using technical experience and judgement based on precedent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet quality, accuracy, and timeliness objectives
- Proficient in event investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA
Education and Experience of a Quality Specialist, Material Release:
- Bachelors Degree is Science or Allied Health
- 2-5 years direct experience
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
