Job Description:

We are seeking a Research Associate to be part of a team focused on gene therapy for neurological diseases, in the Genomic Medicine Unit of Company. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in the analysis of gene therapy strategies targeting the central nervous system and ensure successful translation of pre-clinical gene therapy programs to a clinical setting.
Candidate will be responsible for:

• Timely execution and analysis of experiments and analytical procedures.
• Ability to plan and prioritize concurrent experimental procedures.
• Integrate, compile, and clearly document work and assist supervisor in the analysis and interpretation of the results.
• Follow established procedures/SOPs requiring basic molecular biology and biochemical techniques including nucleic acid and protein extraction and quantification.

Looking for candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment. Candidate will contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects from multiple groups. Excellent communication skills are essential. May provide oral presentations on results to other department and/or lab members.
