6+ month Hybrid CONTRACT role, with potential to extend. Partial onsite work required in Providence, RI. Must have some Project Management experience in Research & Development (R&D)
Lenox Executive Search is seeking an experienced Research & Development Technical Project Manager to fill an 6+ month extendable contractual role with a global pharmaceutical company in Providence, RI. Must have Experience working with Budgets, Resource Management and Scheduling.
REQUIREMENTS for the Research & Development Technical Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, project management or related discipline
- 4+ years of work experience in project management in technical and/or engineering projects (NOT IT)
- Some Project Management experience in Research & Development (R&D)
- Experience working with Budgets, Resource Management and Scheduling
- Must demonstrate a strong initiative and drive
- Able to work independently
- Manages own workload, drawing on practice/precedent and strong project management experience
- Able to adapt to new projects rapidly and to manage working on multiple projects effectively, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas across project boundaries, influencing others to take action
- Communicates clearly and precisely with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates ability to solve advanced problems and attain crucial project goals independently
- Goodunderstanding in scientific disciplines throughout the Pharmaceutical Sciences organization
- Demonstrates aptitude for building team unity
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Research & Development Technical Project Manager:
- Independently supports CMC team(s) for one or more development projects which vary in scope
- Develops advanced full life cycle plans to execute overall project goals and other project-related activities with team
- Creates detailed timelines independently for campaigns needed to execute team strategy
- Identifies and communicates key project issues/concerns cross functionally and makes recommendations
- Assists in the development of project budgeting
- Ensures roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated to those applicable and takes responsibility for progress/setbacks
- Ensures that key stakeholders are kept informed both internally and externally on an ongoing basis
- Estimates and manages material needs (DS, DP, etc.), quantity, and timing for all development activities
- Works closely with the Project Leader and sub-team to align Pharmaceutical Development goals and strategy with those of the Company Core Team
- Aids in scenario planning to proactively provide analysis and recommendations on alternative development plans, along with the associated assumptions and risks
- Effectively summarize key information such as program progress, timeline updates, and risk/opportunity assessments for periodic presentations to management
- Interacts with suppliers on assigned projects

Salary: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
